Buying

We’ll make sure your financial queries are properly answered, including required deposit, unusual mortgage conditions or stamp duty and leaseholder notice fees which will affect the cost of buying and keeping your home.
Selling
If you are selling Edward Hands & Lewis Solicitors will keep in regular contact with the buyer's solicitor and draw up all the required property forms and fixtures and fittings lists that will smooth the sale. We’ll make you aware of any estate agent's fees and check any agreements you are asked to sign. We will also be on hand to finalise the deal and provide the deeds for signing, remaining involved until everything is settled to your satisfaction.
Re-mortgaging
If you are looking to raise finance or to improve your current mortgage deal Edward Hands & Lewis can help. We are on the panel of all the major banks and building societies and can advise you on the process, the type of security required and deal directly with your bank or building society.
HIPs
If you are selling your property you will need to obtain a HIP. We offer HIPs at cost (from as little as £220 plus VAT) via our dedicated HIPS website www.ehlpacks.co.uk. All HIPs are made available online for ease of access and if you use us for your conveyance no payment is required until you sell your home.
