Law Society

The Law Society is the body that represents solicitors in England and Wales. It lobbies government and regulatory bodies on behalf of solicitors and provides training and guidance on becoming a solicitor.

Solicitors Regulation Authority

The SRA deals with regulatory and disciplinary matters monitoring and enforcing standards across England and Wales. The SRA remit is to act solely in the interests of the public and is an independent body to the Law Society.

Legal Services Commission

The legal services commission operates the legal aid scheme offering free and assisted legal advice and support via solicitors and not for profit organisations.  

Resolution

Resolution is a member organisation for family lawyers’ that promotes an approach to family law that considers the needs of the family in a non-confrontational way.

Family Law Panel

This is an accreditation scheme that is run by the Law Society that recognises the specialist family law advice that we offer.
