You and your spouse may be able to agree how your assets should be divided. If this is the case then we can prepare a consent order without the need for you to go to court. If no agreement can be reached then a court hearing will be likely. At that hearing the court will decide on the division of your assets having heard all the evidence. Full and frank disclosure is necessary at court and if there are children involved the court has an obligation to put the welfare of the children first.
