Working at Lutterworth

info@ehlsolicitors.co.uk · 01455 243 777

We asked solicitors and legal advisors at the branch to give their opinion about what it was like to work at the Lutterworth branch, below is what they had to say:

Kirsty Adams – Conveyancing Executive

Q: Have you always worked in Lutterworth?

A: No, I worked at Stoney Stanton before here and have also worked at EHL’s head office in Leicester.

Q: What attracted you to work in Lutterworth?

A: I always wanted to work in a small, local branch.  Lutterworth is a nice little town with a close-knit community, and there aren’t many solicitors around here!

Q: What would you say that Lutterworth is known for?

A: As a conveyancer, I would say that it’s known for being a nice, affluent area with nice houses!

Q: Has the area changed since you first started working in Lutterworth?

A: There have been a few new developments recently and I’ve been receiving more and more new build instructions.  Mainly I deal with sales and purchases; there seems to be a lot of families upsizing.

Q: What is your commute to and from work like?

A: So far touch wood I have had no issues with getting to work; the way home is another story!

Q: Do you like the location of the office in Lutterworth?

A: The High Street location is perfect.  There are lots of local estate agents around here and we’re really well placed, both for people in Lutterworth and also the surrounding areas, including places like Rugby, Coventry, Hinckley, Stoney Stanton and Broughton Astley.

Q: What is there to do in Lutterworth at lunch or after work?

A:  Costa coffee!  There are so many cute little boutique shops as well.  I can also recommend the Thai food at The Fox down the road, and Magna Park isn’t far away for more shopping.

Q: If you were to work at any other EHL Solicitors office, which one would you choose and why?

A: I really like it here, but if I had to move to another office it would be Market Harborough.  I’ve worked there before (in previous employment) and the feel of the town is similar to Lutterworth, it’s nice and close knit.  I’ve also heard that the Harborough office is nice and new since the move!

Georgia McDonnell – Conveyancing Assistant

Q: Have you always worked in Lutterworth?

A: No, before I worked at EHL in Lutterworth, I worked In Thurmaston for a short while.

Q: What attracted you to work in Lutterworth?

A: I live in Lutterworth, so the idea of working in Lutterworth and just round the corner from home was amazing.

Q: What would you say that Lutterworth is known for?

A: Lutterworth is a thriving market town and the home of Frank Whittle’s jet engine. Lutterworth is ideally placed between the M1 and M6 providing great commuter links for Coventry, Leicester, London and Birmingham. Lutterworth is also known for its outstanding schools.

Q: Has the area changed since you first started working in Lutterworth?

A: Since I started working at EHL Lutterworth vast improvements have been made to Lutterworth, with 3 new housing developments and the introduction of multiple franchises into the town centre the town is booming.

Q: What is your commute to and from work like?

A: Due to the fact I live and work in Lutterworth my commute is a breeze, even if I walk back through Lutterworth town I can be home in less than 15 minutes.

Q: Do you like the location of the office in Lutterworth?

A: Our Lutterworth office is based on the High Street, this is a brilliant central location of the town and ensures that it is only a quick walk to one of Lutterworth’s many coffee and cake shops!

Q: What is there to do in Lutterworth at lunch or after work?

A:  Lutterworth and the surrounding villages such as Bitteswell, Ullesthorpe and Gilmorton have some brilliant pubs and coffee shops, allowing that there is always somewhere to grab a quick bite to eat and maybe a little drink! If you fancy something a little more active then there are also two great gyms in Lutterworth, Impact Gym and Lutterworth Leisure Centre.

Q: If you were to work at any other EHL Solicitors office, which one would you choose and why?

A: I would probably choose our Beeston office, having studies for my degree in Nottingham, I loved living in the city and would quite happily move back.
