We recognise that our greatest asset is our staff and that continued investment in personnel is essential for the development of the firm. We only recruit the most talented and committed of individuals who demonstrate a passion for the law and client care.

 Our training and development programme includes the following:

  1. Comprehensive induction programme:  includes training on all our IT systems, meeting with other members of the team and, if you can grin and bear it, lunch with the partners;
  2. Buddy programme: each new member of staff is assigned a buddy within the firm to provide support and assistance in the early period;
  3. Personal Development Plan: each member of staff will spend time initially with their direct line manager and the staff partner to agree a personal development plan. This plan is reviewed regularly and then updated each year;
  4. Annual Appraisals: we operate a structured and comprehensive appraisal system that is focused the development of each new member of staff within the firm;
  5. In-house training: as well as external training, we operate an in-house training programme to encourage knowledge-sharing.
