Charity Bike Ride – On June 1st a team from EHL will set out on a charity bike ride from Leicester to Skegness. We took part last year as well with every team member coming in at around 5 hours and 30 mins for 86 miles! The route takes them along the A52 through Grantham and then off towards the coast and the clock tower in Skegness. Taking part this year will be Jason Hathaway, Leanne Hathaway, Paul Stubbs, Sanveer Sandhu, Edward Webb, Frances Jacobs, Rebecca Gunn, Kulzinder Garcha, Claire Brown and Lindsey Dewart. All money raised will be going to LOROS – good luck team!
The Patter of Tiny Feet! – A huge CONGRATULATIONS are in order for EHL’s Sam Fenton Murrin who is expecting a baby in 2013! We are all incredibly happy for her and can’t wait to meet Baby Fenton-Murrin later this year!
Paul Stubbs Runs the Clough Taylor 10k – This Saturday EHL Director Paul Stubbs braved the weather and the hills to run in the Clough Taylor 10k and raise money in memory of Brian Clough and Peter Taylor. Despite the atrocious weather and daunting inclines Paul completed the challenge in good time and raised money for the cause, he also made it onto the News! EHL abseil down the Ramada – On Saturday EHL Staff abseiled down the Ramada hotel in Leicester to raise money for Leicester Link Charity! Rebecca, Jenna, Sanveer, Paul and Kulzinder were “roped in and roped up” for the event and raised money for charity. A great time was had by all! To see the photos visit our Facebook page here.
Rebecca Gunn Qualifies with EHL – A huge congratulations are in order for EHL’s Rebecca Gunn, who qualified as a solicitor on February 1st 2013. Rebecca joined Edward Hands and Lewis whilst studying part-time for her LPC at De Montfort University. She was employed as a Paralegal, signed her training contract and has now gone on to qualify. Rebecca is an incredibly hard-working and dedicated member of the EHL team and has a bright future here at the firm.
EHL Bike Ride from Leicester to Skegness -Last year members of EHL did the epic bike ride from Leicester to Skegness to raise money for charity. It is a journey of 80+ miles that is completed in one day, so a really tough cycle! This year we will be embarking on the challenge again with all money raised going to LOROS.
Moving on up – Congratulations are in order for both Lindsey Dewart and Sarah Hailes, who have both been recently promoted within EHL! Both Lindsey and Sarah started out as office juniors, now Lindsey is Office Manager and Sarah is a Fee Earner. Lindsey and Sarah are incredibly hard-working and committed to their roles at EHL and we are sure they will both have many future success with the firm. Well done Lindsey and Sarah!
Eleanor Robinson wins Leicestershire trainee solicitor of the year 2012 – EHL’s Eleanor Robinson won Leicestershire Trainee Solicitor of the year in 2012 so a huge congratulations are in order for her! Well done Eleanor! See more about it here
