When Ashic decided to buy his council property via the ‘Right to Buy’ scheme, he chose to use residential conveyancing experts Edward Hands & Lewis Solicitors.  Having used them before, he expected the transaction to be smooth and simple.  Here he describes the process, working with Ramnish Sharma from EHL:

Q: What made you decide to use Edward Hands & Lewis Solicitors?

A: I had used EHL for conveyancing before, after they had been recommended them to me.  EHL is a one stop shop for any legal requirements a person could have and I would recommend them as a great one stop shop for everything.

Q: What did Ramnish do for you during your property transaction?

A:  Ramnish kept us in touch with the seller’s solicitor and was there to sort out things like searches, payments and queries in relation to the flat.  If I wanted to know something, Ramnish would get the information.

Q: How would you describe the process based on your expectations?

A: It was very simple, as I had expected it to be.

Q: What was most valuable about the service Ramnish provided you with?

A:  His attitude – Ramnish is very polite, friendly and knowledgeable.   He has an extremely professional approach and keeps things to the point.

Q: If you were to recommend Ramnish to other first time buyers, what would you say?

A: I have already recommended him to a family friend and I told them that he is very approachable.  I would definitely use him again.
