The buyer will then be required to send the deposit agreed to their solicitor in preparation for the next step.

Step 7 – Exchange of contracts

To make the entire process legal and binding, the signed contract will be exchanged. The buyer’s solicitors will then forward the deposit paid by the buyer to us. On your behalf, we will request your lender for a final redemption statement.

Step 8 – Conveyancing process for selling a house (finish)

When we have received the full balance of the agreed purchase price on the completion day, you’re required to leave the keys with the estate agents. The keys will be only released to the buyer once we confirm receiving the money. We will then clear any mortgage balances and costs related to the transaction and send the rest of the money to you.
