The buyer’s solicitors will need time to go through the paperwork we have send and also conduct the searches. During this period, if they have any enquiries, they will get in touch with us and we might forward the enquiries.

Step 6 – Agree on a completion date

After the consultations are completed and the parties are in agreement, we will settle on a completion date and also complete the signing of the contract. At this point, the buyer will be required to forward the deposit to the buyer’s solicitors.

Step 7 – Exchange of contracts

Exchanging contracts means that the terms of the transactions are now legally binding. Once this has been done, we will ask for a final redemption statement from your mortgage lender.

Step 8 – Conveyancing process for selling a house (finish)

The last step is receiving the full balance from the buyer’s solicitors. Once we have received the funds, we will offset your current mortgage along with other costs that are related to the transaction and then send the balance to you.
