Each employment tribunal case is different – fees can range from £10,000-£15,000 plus VAT.

How we charge for employment tribunal cases

Our hourly rate for employment tribunals are £180 per hours plus VAT. Your case handler will provide information on costs at the appropriate time.

Likely disbursements and associated costs

Counsel’s fees – £1000 to £3000 for 1 day hearing.

Will VAT be charged?

All fees are plus VAT

What services are included in the quote?

Full representation from ACAS through to Final Hearing. Including carrying out of all directions. Price based on a 1 day hearing.

What services are not included within the price?

Any additional days in the Tribunal, which will be charged on an hourly rate basis.

Key stages and typical timescales for services

  • Within 3 months of claim ACAS Early Conciliation (lasts up to 28 days),
  • ET1 completed within 1 month of Early Conciliation,
  • ET3 28 Days later, normally expect a timetable of directions to include, schedule of loss, disclosure and witness evidence and statement of issues.
  • Final Hearings aim to be heard by the Tribunal within 16 weeks.
